Primid powder coatings are formed when Carboxyl functional polyester resins are crosslinked with B- hydroxylalkyl amide. The resulting coatings enjoy superior weather resistant and exhibit excellent color stability, especially in high jet carbon black systems. high charge acceptance makes Primid® crosslinkers a preferred choice for tribo powder applications. These systems also have a favorable toxicological profile (no hazardous classification) as with TGIC.
