Super Durables

Super durables are a class of powder coatings that can withstand AAMA 2604 and AAMA 2605. These are formulated especially with resins with higher crosslinked densities.

Super Durable PE-TGIC

Super durable Polyester TGIC systems are the most used powder coatings and are highly recommended for many applications in the North American Market. TGIC polyester chemistries have the advantage to offer good mechanical and chemical resistance, great flexibility and impact resistance. Polyester TGIC powder coatings show versatile all-around properties such as good overbake resistance, excellent UV resistance, making them great choice for many exterior applications. Can be formulated to various colors, gloss levels, and special effects. This can achieve 5 years Florida, consistent with AAMA 2604.

Super Durable Urethane

Crosslinked with IPDI, Super durable Polyester Urethane systems are highly recommended for many specific applications in the international powder coatings Market. Super durable Urethane chemistries do offer superior mechanical and chemical resistance, great flexibility and impact resistance. They are a great choice for many exterior applications. Can be formulated to various colors, gloss levels, and special effects. This can achieve 5 years Florida, consistent with AAMA 2604.

Super durable Polyester TGIC free (Primid)

This Super Durable Chemistry is based on hydroxyalkyl amide crosslinked with carboxyl-terminated polyesters. For the formulation of exterior durable powder coatings. The high reactivity of Primid® XL-552 combined with a favorable toxicological profile makes this cross-linker the industry standard for exterior durable powder coatings, in regions where the use of PE-TGIC powders is prohibited. This can achieve 5 years Florida, consistent with AAMA 2604.

Fluoropolymer

Fluoropolymer remain the most important chemistry to pass and exceed AAMA 2605. This is the maximum standard for exterior weatherable powder coating currently in the NA market. Formulations can exceed 10 years in south Florida with gloss retention levels that are approved for the architectural markets in North America.
