Polyurethane powder coatings are a set of hydroxyl functional polyester resins crosslinked with the IPDI class of crosslinkers. Apparently, Polyurethanes can achieve both standard durable and or super durable specifications, depending on the type of resin used, they can be a viable alternative for general industrial or unique exterior applications. They have very good chemical and mechanical properties.
